Contributing

There are many ways to contribute.

Developing

You can fix known bugs (see the codimension bug tracker), you can develop new features picking one of the planned for the future releases or even implement your own ideas.

Testing

If you can test codimension on your platform and inform us of both successfull runs and bugs, it would be really useful. If you were able to fix a problem please feel free to submit a patch.

Porting

While developing codimension all the efforts to make it easy portable were made. At the moment however only a few flavors of Linux are covered. We are especially interested in porting codimension to WinXX, MAC OS and BSD platforms. The best way to port codimension would be a reproducable process of preparing a codimension installation package for a certain platform.

Designing

Codimension currently lacks of design in various ways. The icons are not always nice, logo is not professional, interface design might also be not perfect, color schemes need to be designed. Your design can make codimension looking better!
